Summer is here and definitely arrived with a bang, it really has been soooo hot!

​

Looking back to our two events in May, thank you to everyone who came and supported 2Tone when they visited and danced on the tarmac dance floor, just about avoiding the rain. We had a great time and hope you did too. Also to everyone who came to Tribute day with our 4 tribute acts, Elton, Tina, Elvis and Michael, thank you.  Again we boogied the afternoon away in front of the stage and this time the weather was kind to us!

 

The biggest change to our pub this past four weeks is the work that has been going on with the outside being transformed with a fresh colour scheme, new lighting and signage. We have also had the toilets freshened up and the garden room has now been transformed into a lovely space to sit and enjoy the garden. We will not be opening the back garden and it will remain our private space for the time being.

Preparations for the annual Ley Hill Music and Beer Festival, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August, are well underway with eight bands booked throughout the two days. Starting at 1pm both days and with bands on every couple of hours we hope you can join us for this free event. Our thanks go once again to Daniel Hemsley, local Estate Agent, for sponsoring us.

With school holidays fast approaching don’t forget we are open for breakfast 9am to 11.30am where a variety of breakfast dishes are available. A firm favourite with the children has to be the blueberry pancakes!

​

Starting shortly there will be various drainage works being carried out by Buckinghamshire Council. We have been assured that this won’t interfere with our trade although our outside seating will be smaller whilst the works take place but you can be sure we will remain open throughout this time. The work will take approximately three months.

​
